This project aims to determine new factors and markers that contribute to lower limb amputation in diabetes. This project is in collaboration with Drs. Marc-Antoine Despatis and Frédéric Balg.
Podocyturia biomarkers
We are assessing the expression of various markers in urinary podocytes in diabetic patient in order to better predict the progression od the disease. This project is in collaboration with Drs. Anne-Marie Côté and Robert Sabbagh.
Genetic modifications following exercise
In collaboration with Pr. Éleonor Riesco and Benoît Laurent, our team is investigating how high intensity interval exercice in type 2 diabetic post-menauposal women may influence protective genes.
